Could you imagine how high the Bridgewater tax bill would be, if the Central Jersey Industrial Park were anything other than zoned industrial?

I thought that was the whole point of the thing being there, years ago. So that people who live miles away from it, could live off the ratable, and someone else gets to live next to an industrial park.

Mr. Moutain Top or Mr. Martinsville could go, “see those little buildings down in the valley, there, Johnny? We let them be built there so we could live off the tax ratables, and someone else have the problems associated with development. Pretty slick, huh?”
