Many votes for Amitrani and a spotted owl “saves” the Darby Tract.
From a few online sources, I learned that the Darby Tract will not be developed for “active” recreational use, due to the presence there of an owl on the New Jersey Endangered Species list.
What a coincidence!
The appearance of the owl comes just a few weeks after the Republican party’s monopoly in Bridgewater government was almost breached by Democrat Paul Amitrani.
It looks like the Darby Owl did a lot more than beaver “Darby Dan” ever could . . .
