I am fairly certain that this young woman was Arana Yakel.
If you go searching for the young Mrs. Pajersky, you will find her in the 1910 American census, still as a Yakel. Except, for some reason, the census taker didn’t hear “Arana” and wrote “Aaron”, as a boy. (This is maybe no surprise, because Yakel is spelled “Yockell”.)
I can tell you for certain, however, that the 1910 Census is wrong–it’s off by one. There was one more girl and one fewer boy in America that year . . .
