Bleary-eyed bloggers may have their excuses, but I’m not sure if they apply equally to people who create apps for major political campaigns like for president.
A number of the major media outlets reported that an app created for the GOP’s Mitt Romney spelled America as “Amercia”.

Obama (and Hawaii) suffered the indignity of having to produce a birth certificate to shut up internet cranks (I know how that feels). But you know, he didn’t produce one to show he was born in AmerCIA. He can’t prove it, can he?
