Very nice. The Times has a diagram showing the various plausible ways it’s all going to turn out on Tuesday.

In America, the president has to win states. The popular vote is irrelevant. The president is determined by the 538 electors of the Electoral College. Right now, Barack Obama has the lead in forecasts for the Electoral College, including a Nate Silver estimate of about 7% of cases where Obama will win the Electoral College even if coming up short in popular vote.
