“Fix the Debt” really just a ruse for big companies to recieve huge tax breaks if US moved to territorial tax system.

The concern I have about a territorial tax system, one where multinationals in the US market don’t have to pay on earnings they make outside of America, is:

Who pays for our far-flung Defense establishment, which is considerably based outside of America?

A recent commenter to an accounting-geared media network said that he received nothing from the US government while living in Asia. I wish someone had pointed out that the North Pacific is a more stable region because of the money, hardware and manpower that the United States (and its taxpayers) commit to stabilizing the region.
