As of midnight, one of these cards will no longer be valid, and the new card is for coverage that comes into effect. Other than the terms of the insurance, everything else pretty much looks the same. No devil’s horns or hammer and sickle on the new card.

It’s a shame that this was all so badly politicked by some elements in our country.

I too have gotten my new Bc/Bs membership card effective on January 1,2014. I have come a long way from establishing the account at the marketplace to choosing a plan and receiving coverage that is affordable. Thank you so much for all the information you have provided as well as the encouragement along the way. There are others like me perhaps that are celebrating the new year because of this new available coverage that removes pre existing conditions and truly makes this affordable. My cost is now one half what I was paying for Cobra coverage. Again, thank you for the hours you invested in your blog site to keep us informed and all of the great information you shared.

Does a widow have to turn in her deceased husbands pension she receives or just her wages she works and earns

Both are income to the widow.
