An opinion on Marketwatch.
I agree. From Edward Snowden to Tom Perkins, it seems that some people who achieve success within the computer industry, turn around and start writing their own rules. Or worse, creating their own realities, each with its own set of (false) facts.
Why does computer work do this, I wonder? Is it the lack of personal (non-electronic) contact with others?
Why also the anathema to paying taxes? Don’t these people realize that a lot of their industry was incubated in the taxpayer-funded U.S. military ? (In Randian terms, through socialism?)
