I think what it was more, was that Romney was not prepared to go all-out to win. Other than spend the big wad of other people’s money. He bought the line of crap, the Fox News crap, that Obama was so vulnerable that he’d only be a one-term president. So Romney figured, heck, the guy’s on the way out, might as well buy my way in. Parrot all the lines needed to make the sale. (Except he didn’t know he was on camera during the 47% video.)
