The IRS is looking into what these social-welfare 501(c)(4) groups that do politics are actually doing.

As you know, I am for much tighter regulation of money in politics in America. Our Supreme Court, in its Citizens United decision, opened the floodgates to all sorts of shadow spending to influence our elections. We do not know where this money comes from. For all we know, the money comes from China or Japan.

Money is not speech. Money is property. Speech is speech.
