Reader Mail: more antics on http://www.nj.com’s Bridgewater board

A reader informs me that 1999 Bridgewater mayor candidate Licetti or his campaign manager Powers was “at it again” on the Bridgewater board—apparently with another pure personal attack in response to my talking about local government.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see the offending entry—nj.com must have gotten rid of it (Was it #227?)

It’s beyond me why anyone would want to continue to make these personal attacks against someone exercising civil rights—especially someone who recently switched to a Democratic-leaning law firm. I’m not so sure how impressed that firm would be, learning that one of their new people routinely posts pure personal attacks against private citizens on the internet . . .

I think the behavior of both these individuals was utterly indefensible in 2003. And here, too, my opinion hasn’t changed.
